After about 200 hours of work all of the floors are in. There's a mixture as described before of natural knees and laminated ones. All are now fastened in with copper nails and roves, and monel screws down low. I made up some copper and some silicon bronze 1/2" bolts for fastening them through the keel. There are several stainless bolts at the moment that are temporary, they will have longer and thicker copper or bronze bolts once the ballast keel and deadwood are added. thats way kools...wished i could learn ....im startin a new build in nxt year a S-400.....im lookin for timber selection on a 8 mill ply screw an glue desighn
